RVTTC Awards Criteria and Recipients List 2017-2018
Nominations for the 2017 RVTTC awards are now open – Deadline for submissions is May 20th.

2018 Canadian RVT of the Year Award:
Awarded to an RVT who exemplifies the definition of an outstanding individual in the Veterinary Technology profession.
Award winners receive travel and accommodation arrangements (up to $2500) and one CVMA Convention registration to attend the 2018 CVMA Convention in Vancouver, BC.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
• Must be a member in good standing with RVTTC.
• Must have participated as a past or present Board Member of their association or NEW be a past or present award winner of a provincial RVT award as recognized by their own member organization.
• Be involved, active or current in the veterinary technology profession.
• Have outstanding performance in their workplace.
2017 RVTTC/TTVAC Recognition Award: ‘Making a Difference’:
Formally recognizes a RVT who has contributed to the RVT profession as part of their national association.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
• Be a previous RVTTC Board Member.
• Have shown exemplary performance and participation at their provincial level.
• Have shown exemplary performance and participation at their national level.
• Have extensive participation with projects and extended committee duties.
• Have contributed greatly to the profession of RVT.
2017 RVTTC/TTVAC Sandy Hass Appreciation Award:
Formally recognizes an individual or organization for their contribution to the Registered Veterinary Technologists and Technicians of Canada.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
• Be a long time affiliate with RVTTC; industry, associations etc.
• Have shown extended performance and participation.
• Have contributed greatly to the profession of RVT’s in Canada.
