The ABVTA Board of Directors is seeking energetic animal health technology students to be a Student Representative for your College.
Example of Duties (dependent upon school commitments)
- Attend ABVTA Board of Director Meetings
- Relay information from Board of Director meetings back to the student body
- Attend ABVTA Focus Weekend (report school activities to Board of Directors)
- Attend and volunteer at Continuing Education Events
- Communicate any student inquiries to the ABVTA Board of Director Student Liaison
- Recruit upcoming first year students for second year Student Representative
(All students outside of the Capital Region will have their travel expenses compensated according to the Board of Directors Expense Claim Policy)
Qualifications
- Must have registration with the ABVMA /ABVTA as a student member
- Must be currently registered in an AHT program at NAIT, Olds College, Lakeland College or GPRC – Fairview Campus
