Online nomination submissions for the ABVTA Board of Directors are now open! If you are passionate about advancing your career and want to play a key role in shaping the future of the association, complete the online nomination submission no later than September 20, 2024.

Our Board of Directors are a dynamic group of volunteers who are responsible for governance, policy management, strategic planning, leadership, and advocacy. As the highest decision-making body, they play a crucial role in guiding our association and are accountable for overseeing all resources and activities. To enhance efficiency and expertise the board organizes its work through various committees, each focusing on specific areas.

ABVTA Board of Directors serve a two-year term and are required to attend meetings that take place every 1-2 months and can be attended through Zoom or in person and provide a platform for collaboration, discussion, and strategic planning. The board consists of 7-10 elected ABVTA members who serve as directors who vote and advocate for the profession, as well as non voting, ex-officio members that represent other stakeholder groups. When everyone comes together to meet, they make important decisions, discuss pressing matters, and vote on which direction the Association should take.
