Come and join a new team of brilliant, dedicated and fun-loving Registered Veterinary Technologists at Phases Veterinary Emergency Hospital in beautiful Kamloops, BC.

We are a new, locally owned and operated, fully-equipped emergency hospital servicing dogs, cats and exotic pets.

There was a great need for an emergency facility in this region, with the closest such facility being 2 hours away, and we look forward to providing gold-standard emergency care to all of the pets in and around Kamloops.

Some of the services we offer our patients include digital x-ray, ultrasound, full in-house IDEXX diagnostics, CT imaging, endoscopy, emergency surgery and round the clock 24 hour care.

We have an ultrasonographer visiting once a month for referral cases, and hope to grow the specialty side of the hospital in the coming years.

It will take a dedicated team to provide this care, and we are looking for Registered Veterinary Technologists suited to the exciting and challenging world of emergency medicine.

An ability to share in the coverage of overnights, weekends and holidays would be ideal. Our goal is to ensure that no single team member is “stuck” on less favorable shifts for prolonged periods (unless you are a night owl!), and that we all share in the load. Fewer, longer shifts is the goal, so that every team member gets a large amount of time off each week. We will be accepting applications for full-time, part-time and locum RVTs!

For our team, we have a full kitchen and break room, lockers and personal storage, a shower and a sleep room. The hospital has ample safe parking, secure entry with overnight monitoring, and is located on a bus route next to a shopping complex with many other businesses that are open late!

Kamloops as a city has a lot to offer, with a wonderful backyard of hikes, forests and lakes, as well as a world class ski hill, to enrich our lives with plenty of outdoor activity when not at the hospital. There are many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and vineyards for the food and drink connoisseurs. There are many festivals and community events, as well as regular farmer’s markets and sport tournaments. It is also a very kid- and family-friendly city! Kamloops also offers more affordable housing and easy city-wide transportation.
