Peninsula Veterinary Hospital (PVH) located in the heart of Sidney, BC, and is Saanich Peninsula’s newest, independently owned full-service veterinary hospital for cats and dogs! Our beautiful hospital is walkable to Sidney’s shops, cafes, and the ocean, with plentiful staff parking right across the street. Peninsula Veterinary Hospital requires an experienced full-time or part-time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT). your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Surgery intake, prep, sedation, induction, and maintenance of anesthesia
- Efficiently perform full-mouth dental radiographs and scale/polish teeth
- Be competent in routine technical procedures such as IV catheterization, blood and urine collection, injections, bandage care and safely obtaining full body radiographs
- Maintaining hospital equipment
Specific Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an RVT in BC with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Comfort working autonomously as well as part of a cohesive team
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interest in learning and training
- Ability to multitask and prioritize the urgency of tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type:
- Full-time or part-time
