Edmonton, Alberta – The Alberta Veterinary Technologist Association (ABVTA) is delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new benefit for its valued members. Starting July 4, 2023, ABVTA members will gain exclusive access to the renowned Togetherall platform, providing an invaluable resource for mental health support and fostering meaningful connections within the veterinary community.
In an ever-changing and challenging world, prioritizing mental well-being has become more crucial than ever. Understanding the significance of our members’ mental health and overall well-being, ABVTA is thrilled to partner with Togetherall, an inclusive and anonymous online community. Togetherall offers a safe space where members can freely share their thoughts, seek guidance, and engage in conversations with others who share similar experiences.
“We are dedicated to supporting our members’ personal and professional wellness, and the introduction of Togetherall aligns perfectly with our goals,” said Vanessa George, Executive Director of ABVTA. “We recognize the importance of fostering a positive culture within our association, and Togetherall provides an exceptional platform for our members to access mental health support and connect with a community that understands and empathizes.”
With a robust peer support model at its core, Togetherall allows members to find solace, support, and connection. ABVTA members can join an inclusive online community where they can engage in conversations, seek guidance, and receive support from like-minded individuals. The platform is continuously monitored 24/7 by Wall Guides and mental health clinicians, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
In addition to the peer support model, ABVTA offers a range of mental health professional and personal development services. Through informative sessions, ABVTA raises awareness about mental health and promotes psychological well-being, emphasizing the creation of safe and supportive workplaces and teams. The integration of Togetherall alongside existing offerings reinforces ABVTA’s commitment to comprehensive support for members’ mental health and well-being.
Getting started with Togetherall is quick and easy. ABVTA members can sign up by visiting the ABVTA Member Portal and using the direct registration link provided. ABVTA also recognizes the importance of family support, extending access to Togetherall for family members aged 16 and above.
“We are thrilled to provide ABVTA members and their families with access to Togetherall,” added George. “This powerful resource will enable our members to take control of their mental well-being, find support, and foster connections within the veterinary community.”
ABVTA members can look forward to the launch of Togetherall on July 4, 2023. The ABVTA office will be closed on July 3rd in observance of a public holiday.
