As wildfire season continues, here’s how to help your pets stay healthy:
🪟 Keep pets indoors and windows shut. Birds are especially vulnerable.
🐕 Short bathroom breaks only for dogs & cats. Avoid outdoor exercise in poor air quality.
🫁 Pets with breathing issues need extra care—watch for signs like coughing or difficulty breathing.

We are thrilled to introduce Megan Niles as a new member of the ABVTA Board of Directors! 🎉

Megan graduated from the veterinary technology program at NAIT in 2015 where she developed a passion for the medical field and honed her skills in small animal and exotic pet medicine.

Throughout her career, Megan has been supported by mentors who fostered her creativity and growth. At her clinic, she helped develop an RVT engagement system and specialized appointments to improve workflow and patient care.

Eager to advance the mobilization and engagement of RVTs, Megan joins the ABVTA Board to collaborate and support RVTs, believing these efforts will improve retention and have a lasting impact on the veterinary profession.
