The Indian Veterinary Association, Kerala, a partner of the World Veterinary Association, is asking for assistance of donations of medicine, minerals and vitamin supplements for animals affected by the recent floods in Kerala, India.
Below is the letter from Dr. P S Shameem Abubaker, General Secretary, IVA Kerala.
Emergency Appeal for Medicines / Mineral and Vitamin Supplements
Heavy rains and the subsequent floods in Kerala have wreaked havoc in several
parts of the state. As houses have been completely water logged and destroyed,
many have become homeless and taken refuge in relief camps. They have lost their
valuable animals and sheds.
IVA Kerala has responded to crises by sending out emergency teams of vets and
medicines / mineral and vitamin supplements to help animals during this time of
natural disaster. We want to make sure that we are there on the frontline of animal
welfare.
We urgently require your support. By donating medicines / mineral and vitamin
supplements, you are ensuring that we are able to uphold our commitment to
animal welfare. Your support really does make a huge difference to our work.
Thanks in advance for choosing to support our appeal.
With Warm Regards,
Dr P S Shameem Abubaker,
